The Home Rescue Institute is an organization created to be an advocate for homeowners in crisis during these turbulent economic times. We refer to these individuals as our Neighbors in Need.
We provide honest, reliable and truthful support to homeowners to help them make informed choices under difficult circumstances.
We believe that homeowners are truly the victims of a crisis, not unlike surviving a natural disaster. When a family loses their home, the impact is the same whether the loss was suffered as a result of a fire, flood, tornado, hurricane, earthquake or economic downturn. The only difference is that with an economic downturn, the home is still standing so you can’t see the devastation created in the wake of the disaster. It’s like a neutron bomb exploded. Everything living is killed and the structures remain behind.
As with any crisis, there are those who seek to rescue the victims and those who seek to take advantage of the victims. We exist to rescue homeowners from the greatest personal crisis they might ever face in their lifetime. We do not take advantage of anyone and we seek to expose those who do.
By enlisting the aid of credit specialists, tax attorneys, CPA’s, real estate attorneys and bankruptcy attorneys, we provide training and support to professional real estate agents and brokers. Once trained, we ask them to find and assist homeowners who need their help. Our trained professionals are called Certified Home Rescue Experts and they have a CHRE designation on their resume.
Our rescue efforts include providing answers to the tough questions that other professionals don’t want to answer or don’t know the answer. We give honest responses with no unrealistic claims. We rarely offer good choices. We often say that the choices range from bad to worse and our goal is to help you make bad choices and avoid making worse choices.
We have no conflict of interest with homeowners because we don’t have a personal agenda. Our goal is to:
- Find homeowners in crisis;
- Educate them about their available choices (modification, refinance, short sale, foreclosure or bankruptcy) and the consequences of those choices;
- Introduce them to professionals who can provide the best help for them; and
- Provide reliable, trustworthy support and guidance throughout the process.
On a personal note, I founded the Home Rescue Institute after watching close friends succumb to the shame and embarrassment of a short sale and then be taken advantage of by “professionals” who were nothing more than “midnight looters.” Now that you’ve found us, I hope you’ll come to trust us. We promise to never violate that trust!
